St. John Chrysostom School

A school has been in our prayers since the founding of St. John Chrysostom Antiochian Orthodox Church in 1992. In the decades since, we have been blessed with a vibrant, growing spiritual community with many families whose children crowd the Sunday School rooms.

The St. John Chrysostom School is a ministry of the church and an expression of our love, prayers, and hopes for our children, as well as the fruit of the intercessions of our patron saint, St. John Chrysostom.

What is a Parish School?

A parish school is an academic program within the life of the church; the fullest integration of home, church, and school. With the prayers and help of the parish, our students are supported in their education and spiritual growth. One of the wonderful aspects of the parish school model is the ability to order each day, season, and year around the liturgical calendar. Fasts and feast days are part of the very fabric of the school’s life. The parish school is nothing less than an extension of the living Body of Christ and in this familial body, our heart, mind, and hands are given life and strength.
